Make My Life A Sacrifice
On Saturday morning, when I opened the front door, I was greeted by... HAZE! All the Malaysians who had lived in KL before spent the rest of the day saying.. wah.. this is like back home! Australia's burning... bushfires galore. It is terrible. When we drove down to Rye and back later to Frankston, the road was so so hazy you couldn't really see very much. And we are actually quite far away from Gippsland and the north-eastern parts of the state where the bushfire hot zones are. We are going through a drought. It has not rained very much. And the heat is scorching. Had a couple of 39 degree days. It went up to 42.1 on Sunday! Then it became cold again last night...
Melbourne weather has to be female. Only a female can be that temperemental!
And I am also car-less. For those who do not know yet, I got rammed from behind at a red light.
DISCLAIMER: It was NOT my fault!!!!
I was actually sitting in the car, waiting for the light to change, and had been for quite a while.. then the RACV tow truck behind me decided to accelerate while the light was still red.. and voila, I am not without a car as the back windscreen shattered and the boot got dented. They called yesterday, said it would take 9 working days to fix. They even told me that it would be back before Christmas!! So now I am car-less.. which is not a good thing here cos you can't just walk out to the road and catch a bus to anywhere you want to go to.
My Mac is also in hospital. As I have been telling every one that my car is in hospital. Sent it in to get a key changed. Apple care is so nice. Free service. :)
I have been nua-ing at home. Thinking about my life. Sometimes I wonder why I get so bothered when some particular people say certain things or get upset at me. I just can't help it but I do.
It's one thing to give advice and say something positive, it's another to live it out.
