Today's polling day in Singapore. I was initially quite excited. Cos this is the first GE since I turned 21. There was a presidential election, but it was a walkover. Singapore is forever having walkovers. And I found out that I was actually eligible to vote cos technically, I hadn't, at the time the registry of voters came out, had been out of Singapore for more than 3 yrs.. now I have lah... Then I found out that the voting centre in Australia is in Canberra.. cos that's the only place with a Singapore High Comm. Then I found out that my area was being contested.. they carved out a new single seat niche in Bukit Panjang.. so I got excited again.. then my dad calls and says.. our block comes under Holland-Bukit Timah... grrrrr..... so walkover.


The Straits Times has been FILLED chocker-blockers with GE news.. it's quite entertaining to read.


As for my life... hmmmm....
