Ok.. PAP won 82 out of 84 seats. No surprises there. I'm glad the opposition won some seats though. I mean, we do need a balancing party in parliament. Today Elaine and Jason come to me very excited after service saying, " She sure will know the results one!".. meaning election results. Haha... I actually was so excited about reading the Straits Times this morning that I abandoned my normal daily bread.. oops.


I think I'm probably going home for a week and a bit in June. Wanna meet up with some people before they vamoose off again.


I think 1 thing I learnt about my relationship with God today is that I just don't take time off just to be with Him. Sometimes I'm just so caught up with the doing and the doing.. that's where Ruth calls me a workaholic.. that I forget to come back to Him. 1 thing I was reminded of today was that God doesn't really judge us by how much we do for Him but our heart for Him.


Father, take me back to that secret place. Where I can rest in Your sanctuary and meet You face to face. Take my burdens, take my pain. Fill me with your joy and peace that overflows. Speak to me with loving whispers and I enjoy the sweetness of Your presence. There's no greater joy Lord, than being with You. Amen.
