Watched Grey's Anatomy.. finally. It's bad cos I'm not supposed to be spending time like that. But well.. I like the show.


It's made me think.. what does it really mean to be a doctor.


When I started medical school slightly over 3 years ago.. I had some idea. When I bugged my parents day and night to send me abroad to study medicine, I had some idea. Now.. I still have some idea. But the ideas have changed. I guess now a lot of the time, I think of what life is going to be like when I am a doctor. Ok, I still think a lot about the getting there with the work load and all. But yeah, I have a grand total of 4 holidays left before I graduate. We don't get mid-sem breaks.. so you can't count that. I get 3 weeks mid yr, under 2 months at the end of the year, 6 weeks some time next yr and 1 month before I start work. It's a very scary thought.


Brrrrr.....
