Sometimes you just feel like you could go crazy.....


We went down to Frankston again yesterday for care group. This year, the church is embarking on a plan for local missions... meaning we are trying to start new churches all over Victoria in line with fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) in our own backyard. It would be quite a big backyard. So the whole church has been divided in 4 groups covering 4 areas in metropolitan Victoria. City Centre has 4 other areas and our area covers Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula.


So, since there is a Monash campus in Frankston we decided to start CCM there.. which was really quite a piece of cake cos there isn't a Christian club on Monash Peninsula. It was a piece of cake to start but has not exactly been a piece of cake to run as well.. it is a 30 min drive to get down to Frankston... petrol prices in the world are skyrocketing... my car now eats more than I do... this is an additional care group on top of the care group in Clayton that has just expanded at the seams again...etc etc etc...


At the same time, God has been really good to us. We've got really keen Peninsula students in the group. We get a good 7-10 students each time we have care group.. the matter is now retaining them and stabalizing them since we have been there 3 weeks... we also went out to dinner with them tonight.. or actually it would have been last night...


So yeah.. that's life for now....
