Been grumpy today. Not having a fantabulous day especially when people snap at you. I HATE it when people snap at you. It's like.. when they are in a good mood they laugh and joke at you, but when they are in a bad mood they snap at you. It becomes very hard cos it's like you need to tread on glass around the person, Aiz.. people...



On a different note.. I've actually managed to watch some of the Commonwealth games. I'm like one of the least excited people where the games are concerned. But I've figured one thing. Even though I say I might want to stay on here in Australia, and that I want to reside elsewhere in the world, I think I'm still a Singaporean at heart. Haha.. cos I will still support Singapore no matter what.


Some interesting facts of the games...


Australia keeps winning! I know they are on home turf.. but they have won like 70 over games medals!! I think having the home crowd cheer for you plays a part. I mean.. they sure have achieved no mean feat.. especially since Thorpe and Hackett are both not swimming


And the Australian TV channel only shows games Australia wins. So it hasn't been THAT interesting to watch as well.


Melissa Wu... their little 13 year old diving sensation is cute.


Sierra Lorne has lost more than half their team. They've absconded.


There are 71 Commonwealth nations. China is NOT part of the Commonwealth. Neither is the US. Which explains why Australia is having the ball of a time.


The Australian and the NZ flag look very similar!


I still don't know what the Australian national anthem is.


We're going to watch fireworks on Sunday!!!
