I wanted to post some pics, but to my utmost horror, my camera is flat. Grrr.. means I need to charge it in order to be able to upload pics. Oh wells. I am so tired right now but I can't sleep cos I am waiting for someone to come pick up dinner.

Had care group tonight. Spent most of my time in the kitchen trying to figure out how to make tang yuan with the wrong kind of flour. No one bought glutinous rice flour, so we had to make do with tapioca flour. Thankfully Auntie Pansy came to visit tonight and she figured out a way how to do it. Most of the tang yuans still exploded though. Had too much to eat for dinner anyhows.

This is my 2nd CNY away from home. And I REALLY want to go home. Ruth told me tonight that she has never been home for CNY since she came here to study. I cannot imagine not going home for CNY for so long. Swee just told me today that next year's CNY is in mid Feb. Which is bad news for me. Cos it means I can't go back again. Argh! I so regret not booking a ticket earlier this year. Cos there are absolutely no flights back to Melbourne at the time at which I am supposed to start school.

I got a new piggy bank today. It's so cute. I got it for free. Will post a picture of it soon.
