Make My Life A Sacrifice
Wilsons Prom is a national park over here.. it's at the southern most point of continental Australia and is a HUGE place. There are over 2o walks and many beaches and rivers. We went to Squeaky Beach.. so named cos the sand squeaks as it is very fine and all the grains are the same size, we took a 4 hr return walk to Little Oberon Bay and then we visited Tidal River.
Ivy Ong was very smart. Ivy Ong didn't wear sunblock.. well actually Ivy Ong didn't expect to have to walk so much, but as Swee said when I got home, where got people go Wilsons Prom and don't walk one? So now I am hurting and aching. I am sooo unfit. Think I will start going for aerobics this year.
Had dinner at a Thai restaurant in Cranbourne. Got lost a couple of times today. Was napping on the way back and everytime I got up, Ian & Veng seemed to be lost.
All in all it was a pretty enjoyable day except that I am dead tired now. Had a bubble bath when I got back. Washed the totally unused bath tub to do so. :)
Was talking to Ruth last night about stuff again... and she said something that really stuck.. she said that in all things we do, we need to be convicted about it. No point in just listening to other people.. we ourselves need to be convicted. Like being punctual... you can remind people are they are punctual for a short period in time, but then they revert back cos they don't see them value of being punctual themselves. Words of wisdom... she has agreed to feed my rabbits if I promise to behave in Perth.
