Make My Life A Sacrifice
Just got back from clinical bedside tute with Mona. She's soooooo good. Except when she gives us her horrified look that we don't know anything. She's much better than my original tutor.
Going to the library to study later. Need to mug really hard.
I finally got to draw blood from a real patient yesterday. More like put in his iv cannula. It was really funny. We just decided to pop by endoscopy and ask if we could do it. So we wait for the anaesthetist to come. The nurse comes to get us after a wait, and tells us.. Oh here is the trolley, help yourselves. We were like.. ummm.. don't we need to be supervised? So well, we did cannulations unsupervised. Did quite messy jobs initially. Blood all over. Esp in this guy who's an iv drug user and is hep c positive! So yeah, I can put in a drip now! Yay. I don't like the new funky retractable cannulas. They are too clunky and hard to use.
Okies.. really gotta study. Need to learn about the various scars resulting from surgery. Laparotomy, stenotomy, grid-line-something, lobotomy... heehee
I need to study!!!!!!!
Standing on the promises of God my King.
