When I fall in love, it will be forever..


Was talking to Ruth last night about things.

There was this part of Lady in Waiting, this book I was reading that talked about wholeheartedness. Would you marry a guy who says.. honey for 364 days in the year, I will be yours. I will be by your side, I will love you, I will care for you, I will do anything for you. But for 1 day in a year, I want to be free to have fun and be with other women.

Would you marry a guy like that?

The answer is most likely a resounding no. Don't say 1 day lah, 1 hour I would already say no.

That is the kind of wholehearted love God desires from us as that is what He gives to us. And till we learn to give it to God, there is no way we can learn to give it unconditionally to another. Cos it's as simple as this, God never fails us but humans will always fail us at some point in life. And we cannot say, I stop loving you cos you failed me.

1 other thing I learnt was the 1+1=3 principle. You + him.. him being your partner.. must be better than the sum of the 2 of u individually. Cool huh?

God....... grant me patience and an obedient heart.
