Make My Life A Sacrifice
My tute is mostly done.. my tute for tomorrow is still not done. My pathology tutes are quite gone case cos I can't see anything on those pictures so I can't really answer when they ask what is wrong with the specimen. Our tutor on Friday advised us to write things that we think an examiner would like to see and not utter rubbish. But but... oh wells.
Need to go to uni in a bit. Meeting up with people again. It's week 7. 12 more weeks to go till exams. The whole rut starts again.
What have I learnt in the past week...
Hmmm...
I could start the whole God never shortchanges you talk.. but I think it's actually much more than that.
I feel a lot of times, even subconsciously, we do things more for ourselves than for God. Even if it's just to make ourselves feel good.
God provided the Israelites with manna when they were out in the desert. God's manna is still falling on the earth today. It is still falling on us. God provides enough for us daily. But how often do we remember to look back to God and thank Him for a good day's worth of manna.
This is a time of change. A new beginning. A time of renewing, refreshing and rebuilding. A time with God in it.
We are the people of the Lord
We're a holy nation
A chosen generation called to show forth His praise
We are the people of the Lord
We're a holy nation
Believers in Jesus
Lifting up our voices to the Lord
