Make My Life A Sacrifice
Not uploaded pictures in ages. Will try and synch my camera soon. Then Ida can have her picture of those beautiful ladies.
Today's the 1st day of semester 2 orientation. Very quiet today cos only the post-grad education students were enrolling. We just sat there, ate junk and bullied Ellyne. We were trying to convince her to get us Gold Class tickets as thank you gifts.
Dance practice again tonight at Caulfield. Ruth is actually starting to look very good when she dances. Gave her remedial last night after a totally full Korean dinner & ice-cream. Conference is in 3 days. I need to finalize my ribbon dance tonight.
I think one thing God has showed me is this verse. Strange, it's Chewy's signature at the end of his e-mails but it never really struck me till it was flashed but Him up there so clearly in my mind last night.
"I lift my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth."
~ Ps 121:1-2
God is our best helper. But sad to say we always turn to our human counterparts whenever we face a problem. Then when the humans fail us, irritate us, disappoint us... the whole world seems to fall apart and our life becomes a mess. Then God has to come along and clean up the mess, dry our tears, comfort us, pick us up and set us right again... Then He guides us.. but most of the time, we choose to ignore Him and go the wrong way and fall again. What stubborn little children we are.
