Make My Life A Sacrifice
It's really really really really hot!!!! Not as hot as Bangkok but still extremely hot and muggy. Oh wells. It's just for 3 more days. I think I should be able to take it... I hope. I actually need a shower... but the thought of being sticky again AFTER the shower puts me off!!! Well, at least my eyes have stopped itching for a while. Meeting Teresa & Kewong today. Meeting Flora & Yvonne tmr.Don't know if I'm meeting Hui Min.
Bangkok was quite nice. Quite happy that I got to go for Hope Bangkok service. My whole family went. And they actually sat through the whole 2 and a half hours! This was the S region at the Sukhumvit centre held at the Royal Benja Hotel. This is Hope Bangkok's newest centre, and they already have 2 services and a congregation of 400 per service. Peung says she thinks this is the nicest meeting place. I think my family was not used to people being so friendly to them. Haha. By the time service ended, people were swarming around us. Dad was like, ok, can we go before we get stopped again?
I also visited Mom & Peung at Hope Place on Monday. Was so good to see them again. Had lunch with them. First time in the whole trip I had a meal that cost less than 100 baht per head. But hey, the food was good. Got to spend 1 hr with Ps Prayut. (Hope I got his name right.) Talked to him about their chorus and dance ministry. Very very very very funny. He told me they spend at least 5 days a week together. Each group practises 3 times a week. I was telling him, if I imposed such a regulation, I would be the only one there. He was really nice. Gave me a T-shirt and the Power of Praise vcd I wanted so much. Took them some time to fit me into the shirt tho.
Okies.. very very hot... going to shower...
